Amerigo Resources, through its wholly owned subsidiary Minera Valle Central (MVC), is a producer of copper and molybdenum concentrates from tailings from Codelco’s El Teniente mine – the largest underground copper mine in the world. MVC produced 51.7 million pounds of copper and 1.1 million pounds of molybdenum in 2012 and is treating all fresh tailings from El Teniente’s current production.
