Amerigo Resources operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Minera Valle Central (MVC), to produce copper and molybdenum concentrates from tailings from the world’s largest underground copper mine, Codelco’s El Teniente mine. In 2010, MVC produced nearly 46.6 million pounds of copper and 777,304 pounds of molybdenum.
